THE BASH BEST BITS

With just 5 weeks to go until the GEORGE British Bash honoring Sir Steve Redgrave we thought it was time to get nostalgic and take a look back at some of the best bits from the last four years…

12. Will & Kate… In 2011, the wedding of Prince William and Kate Middleton presented an ideal theme for the inaugural Bash as Royal Wedding fever spread across the world. Guests were greeted by The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge who kindly stayed in the same position all night for endless photo opportunities.

11. A taste from home… Bowler hat centerpieces bulging with great British treats including Cadbury Dairy Milk!

10. We’re on telly… St. George’s Society President Richard Sexton, MBE was interviewed LIVE from the Royal Wedding Bash for Lou Dobbs Tonight on Fox Business.

9. Fancy a tipple… the Virgin Redhead. A champagne cocktail blended with raspberries, pressed lemon juice, cassis and framboise liqueurs, shaken with Bombay Sapphire Gin and then spritzed with the house champagne. 8. Pucker up… it’s impossible not to look fabulous at the Bash with the Boots lipstick station on hand. 7. #BritBashNYC… looking good guys!6. Say cheeeeese… the Boots photo booth kept guests entertained all night in 2013.

5. From Barbour to Beckham… every year we celebrate the “Best of British” in our auction to raise funds for St. George’s Society’s charitable programs.4. Back by popular demand… Our favorite band Rhythm Collective will be returning for a fifth year!3. Cash prize… guests playing to win $200 during an epic game of Heads or Tails in 2014.

2. Let’s dance… it’s a tradition at the Bash for guests to take over the stage at the end of the evening!

1. Ladies and gentlemen… our 2014 honoree JONNY WILKINSON, CBE.
