What brought you to New York?

I have lived in New York City my entire life. It is the greatest city in the world I might add.

What is your involvement with St. George’s Society?

I have the privilege of being the Manton Social Worker. I work with senior beneficiaries, assisting those who were born either in the United Kingdom or Commonwealth nations who live in New York and are in need of financial and emotional support.

What do you enjoy about being a part of St. George’s Society?

It is the best job in the world, and I am the luckiest social worker in New York City. The Society enables me to give hope to those who need it the most.

What is your favorite New York place or pastime?

Riding the A train and looking at the unfolding drama of life in New York City. Walking in Fort Tryon Park with my sister Patty. Sitting with my husband as the sun sets on the Hudson River outside our window.

What are your city must-sees?

Staten Island Ferry, Scandinavian House, New York Historical Society, Cloisters, Morgan Library.

Best restaurant in the city?

Sammy’s Romanian Restaurant in the East Village.
