Headmaster at The British International School of New York
What brought you to New York?
The chance to take up the Headship of the British International School was too good an opportunity to miss & I am looking forward to helping chart the next stage in the school’s development. It is also a great chance for me to pursue further my passion for American History.
What do you enjoy about being a member of St George’s Society?
The diversity of interests, backgrounds and careers among the membership is fascinating and it is also lovely to meet others with an interest in the UK and Anglo-American links.
What is your favourite New York place or pastime?
It’s too early for me to declare a favourite, but I have enjoyed exploring the Metropolitan Museum even more than I anticipated and the Morgan Library is also becoming a favourite place to spend time. In terms of pastimes, I’m doing my best to cultivate an enjoyment of the gym to offset the threat posed by the number of great restaurants in the city.
