What brought you to New York?
I came to New York in 1985, when I managed to invite myself on a two-week visit to the New York office of the UK company I worked for at the time. The wheels came off the bus when I met the redhead that I am still married to 30 years later, so much for a two week trip…
What do you enjoy about being a member of St. George’s Society?
I joined St. George’s quite a while ago and at the time I was happy being a part of what I saw as a traditional link to the UK, whilst doing good for the community. Having witnessed St. George’s Society’s development into a vibrant and connected business networking community and social group I am even more glad to be a part of the membership.
What is your favorite New York place or pastime?
I have so many, but I must say that Grand Central Station is probably my favourite. It’s such an incredible crossroads of the world. As to a favourite pastime? I love to drive out to the North Fork of Long Island, cross over to Shelter Island on the ferry and then ferry again to Sag Harbor, sampling the wines and seafood along the way, it’s a great day out!
