New York revival of the 1953 play, A Day by the Sea by British playwright N.C. Hunter


A Day by the Sea is a warm, human and often humorous depiction of the “crisis” of middle age. Julian Anson, a once-promising Foreign Service employee, confronts professional disappointment and personal failure while picnicking along the English seaside. Jolted into the realization that maybe it’s not too late – he seizes an opportunity to correct his past mistakes and start fresh – but will the results be any different?

It will be the first time a men’s GB Baseball team has played in the USA since 2012, when our U23 team travelled throughout New England to play collegiate summer league teams.The WBC Qualifier also includes teams from Brazil, Israel and Pakistan.

New York’s Annual Festival of Irish Theater

The 2016 Irish Screen America Film Festival opens on Friday Sep 30th with the New York Premiere of Queen Of Ireland, Ireland’s national treasure and accidental activist Miss Pant Bliss will attend the Opening Night Screening Co-Presented with Glucksman Ireland House NYU, and Irish Arts Center. The witty incisive documentary follows Miss Bliss during the lead up to the historic same- sex marriage referendum in Ireland (Q & A with Director Conor Horgan to follow the screening). Irish stars Seana Kerslake and Nika McGuigan will attend the World Premiere of Irish TV’s brand new hit comedy series Can’t Cope,Won’t Cope (Q&A with Director Cathy Brady to follow). Also showing over the three-day festival will be the best of Irish Shorts, A shorts showcase of Irish Filmmaking talent in NYC , and the hit Irish films Tiger Raid (Tribeca) and Mammal (Sundance).
