Westminster Abbey is embarking on an exciting new project to build a new museum and gallery: The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries, in the Abbey's medieval triforium. Opening June 2018, this new 9,600 sq ft gallery and exhibition space will allow the Abbey to display the very best of its many unseen treasures and collections.
The most dynamic aspect will be the addition of a new external tower to bring visitors to the galleries level. It will be 80 ft high, gothic in its styling with 12,000 panes of glass which will allow visitors to enjoy wonderful views as they climb the stairs.
Become a part of Abbey history and for just £10 you can leave a message within The Queen's Diamond Jubilee Galleries Online Book. Once the Galleries has completed construction, the entire book will be printed and kept in the Abbey’s archive forever.
