St. George’s Society of New York Named Digital Excellence Award Honoree at the 2020 NYSAE Synergy Awards

New York, NY (August 2020) -- St. George’s Society of New York (SGSNY) announced today that it will be honored by New York Society of Association Executives (NYSAE) with the Digital Excellence Award at the 2020 NYSAE Virtual Synergy Awards.

Founded in 1770 by English settlers in New York, SGSNY is one of the oldest charitable organizations in the United States. Celebrating its 250th anniversary this year, the Society remains committed to its core mission to provide relief and support to people in need in the tri-state area. The Society is being recognized for visionary innovation in its use of digital technology to advance its mission.

“When we set out to “refresh” our brand in 2015, we knew that we were undertaking a massive task. But we also recognized that innovation is a key component in maintaining our 250-year legacy. Enhancing our digital presence would not only keep us relevant but also effective. We thank our dedicated community for giving us the support and platform to continue our good work in this great city,” remarked Anna Titley, Executive Director of SGSNY.

Originally scheduled for May, the NYSAE Awards were postponed amid lockdown measures caused by the pandemic. The virtual ceremony has since been rescheduled for Thursday 20 August 2020 at 12pm EST. SGSNY will be honored alongside other notable individuals and organizations including Alan Steel, President & CEO of the Javits Center; Joi Gordon, CEO of Dress for Success; American Society of Mechanical Engineers; and Bette Midler & the New York Restoration Project.
