Our Work

Since our founding in 1770, St. George's Society of New York has given aid to hundreds of thousands of New York's most vulnerable. While our charitable giving has evolved over time, our purpose remains the same: to help people in need.

Today, our charitable programming is focused in three areas:

The BENEFICIARY PROGRAM provides financial and quality-of-life support to vulnerable seniors, protecting them from homelessness, poverty, isolation and neglect.

The SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM provides financial aid and professional development to low-income, final-year students ensuring a pathway to academic and professional success.

THE WEATHERSTONE FAMILIES SUPPORT FUND provides assistance to families affected by pediatric cancer traveling to New York for life-saving treatment.
