Wish you had two birthdays? King Charles III does. Let’s celebrate!
Join St. George’s Society for a day of picnicking and socializing with friends in the park.
The Royal tradition to celebrate two Monarch birthdays a year dates back to 1748 during the reign of King George II, who, like King Charles’ real birthday, also had a November birthday. The idea - the parade would be held on a day with “good” (British) weather.
The celebration is open to all! Guests are encouraged to bring their own food, beverages, and picnic blankets. Families with kids of all ages and pets are welcome!
Free to attend for members and non-members.
Event is weather permitting.
