CANCELLATION NOTICE

With regret St. George’s Society of New York is unable to proceed with this year’s Holiday Lunch. Unfortunately, rising restaurant costs and elevated COVID cases prevented us from reaching the required number of guests that were needed to make this beloved event affordable for us.

Welcome Reception
Festive appetizers

Lunch
beef or roast turkey
vegetarian option available

Coffee Service & Dessert
with English Trifle, warm mince pies and brandy butter
followed by carols

Dress code: Casual with festive attire encouraged

Members: $160 per person
Non-members: $170 per person
Price includes meal with beer & wine.

NOTE: We are conscious that the 2021 ticket prices are higher than previous years. This is due to the steep increase in restaurant and venue costs. We are delighted to partner with our friends at Jones Wood Foundry on a wonderful menu including wine and beer as well as some of the special touches that make this event so enjoyable. 

Please do register as soon as possible and before 24 November 2021, 12:00pm ET if you would like to attend. We will only proceed with the event if we have sufficient interest. If we must cancel, we will issue refunds; otherwise, all transactions are final.

A food driven gastro pub. Born and raised in Stratford-upon-Avon, Chef & Owner Jason Hicks, opened this gem some 10 years ago on New York's Upper East Side. It has since become somewhat of an institution offering a nostalgic experience of the classic staples only to be found in the UK. Signature dishes include fish & chips, Suet crust savory pies, banoffee pie (banana cream pie) and a toast menu of simple bites such as potted shrimp, Welsh rarebit. Jones Wood is also famed for its sessionable British ales including a rotating cask selection.
