Congratulations to the Class of 2022!

It is graduation season, and we couldn’t be prouder of our SGSNY Class of 2022!

These 24 scholarship recipients will have successfully graduated this spring or early summer—marking a 100% completion rate for the Scholarship Program this academic year. With degrees spanning more than 15 fields of study, our graduates have earned a host of distinctions and awards, and the number of postgraduate acceptance letters, scholarship awards, and employment offers continue to come in. We are proud to welcome this esteemed group of students to our growing community of 440+ SGSNY Scholar alums!

Executive Director Clare Risman, Scholarship Chair David Martinelli and Program Coordinator Jessica Sims had the opportunity to attend Lehman College’s Commencement on 26 May, and hand deliver graduation gifts, generously supported by Chilmark Builders, to some of our graduates. SGSNY representatives were also in attendance at the commencement ceremony for City Tech and we will be at Hunter College’s School of Social Work commencement ceremony on 8 June.
