Holiday Cards with Operation Deliver Hope
We're asking members of our community to join us in spreading joy this holiday season and send a senior a card.
St. George's Society's Beneficiary Program provides crucial financial and quality-of-life support to vulnerable seniors. In addition to financial assistance for necessities like rent and utilities, the Society’s dedicated social workers offer much-needed emotional support and serve as advocates for senior services and entitlements.
The holiday season is a particularly difficult and lonely time for a great many of our beneficiaries. Each year, St. George’s Society sends specially-curated holiday gift baskets to our seniors. Oftentimes, this is the only gift they will receive.
This year, we will continue this tradition and hand-deliver these gifts along with some much-needed holiday cheer for Operation Deliver Hope. All cards will be delivered to our seniors with their gift baskets.
To participate, please complete the registration form below to let our team know to expect a card from you. Then, run to your local store and pick up a holiday card and include a kind message with seasons greetings to a friendly stranger.
Once completed, please send to the St. George’s Society office (address and instructions included in form).
Deadline for cards to be included is 4 December 2020.
For questions, please contact Eliane Abou-Assi at eliane@stgeorgessociety.org
