Saint George's Dragon Dash
Slay 5K your way with Team SGSNY at Saint George’s Dragon Dash!

So armor up (or just lace up your sneakers) and join Team SGSNY virtually on the weekend of the 23rd April. Every step, skip or stride you take will make a real difference to the seniors, students and families we serve.
When: 23-25 April 2021
Where: Anywhere you like!
Registration Cost: $20 for adults | FREE for youth (16 and under)
You can complete the Saint George’s Dragon Dash from anywhere you’d like, any way you’d like—whether you’re under the bright lights of the big city or in your own backyard. This family-friendly virtual event will shed light on St. George’s Society of New York’s work in the Big Apple and beyond.
Challenge yourself, recruit friends and family and get ready to go the distance for Team SGSNY. Participate however you can practice safe social distancing based on your community's guidelines.
Anyone and everyone can join! We want people across the country (and across the pond!) to come together to support people in need. All participants will receive a virtual bib and finisher’s certificate.
And don’t forget to share your experience on dash day by using the hashtag #SGSNY and tag @sgs_ny!

Why we do it (and you should too!)
Founded on Saint George’s Day—23 April—in 1770, St. George’s Society of New York has been a helping hand and a beacon of hope for so many across the Tri-State area. Our forefathers may’ve been English (hence our name), but our mission is a universal one: to serve those in need. And for over two and a half centuries, we have done just that.
In 2020—our 250th anniversary—the COVID-19 pandemic amplified the challenges the communities we serve already face and put in stark relief the critical nature of our programming. We are working tirelessly to ensure the seniors, students and families that depend on us get the vital support they need right now, but we can’t do it alone. We need your support.
Your participation and fundraising will enable us to create new services, adapt old ones and continue to be a force for good in the Tri-State area. You can keep our seniors safe in their homes, keep our scholars on the pathway to success and keep our families confident that we’ll take care of the details while their children battle cancer.

We'll be getting muddy to raise much-needed funds for St. George's Society. Support us by making a tax-deductible donation to our team. The process is fast, easy, and secure... and you can be sure that it will benefit a great cause!
