Meet Hannah
St. George’s Society is thrilled to welcome Hannah Smith to the office team.
Hannah joins us as Operations Coordinator on a one-year placement with the Mountbatten Program. Originally from Liverpool, she has worked across multiple industries including fashion, music and nonprofit. Most recently, she worked at Very.co.uk, the UK’s biggest online retailer as a Photo Services Coordinator. She studied Linguistics at Roehampton University and is a proud supporter of Liverpool FC.
What do you want to do while you’re in New York?
I want to go sightseeing throughout the city. I’d also like to sing in a jazz club.
What do you think you’ll miss most about home?
My ma, of course. And a proper cup of tea.
What are you looking forward to most as a part of the SGS team?
When I found out I was accepted as the new Operations Coordinator, I was so excited. I’m really looking forward to becoming a positive part of this community and helping with all of the events. I’ve heard great things about the Bash and I’m sure it’s set to be a great evening.
