Pathways to Scholarships

Since 2008, St. George’s Society’s Scholarship Program has helped low-income, final-year students complete their education and launch their careers. While we currently serve students at Lehman and Hunter Colleges—part of the City University of New York—we remain committed to our goal of expanding to CUNY institutions across all five boroughs of New York.

We hope to foster this expansion through Pathways Corporate Partners Program, an initiative launching this year. Pathways will allow companies to take an active part in closing the education gap and ensuring the future of tomorrow’s leaders.

By sponsoring scholarships over a multi-year period, participating companies can eliminate the financial barriers that often prevent low-income, high-achieving students from succeeding. Naming opportunities will be available as well as the ability to select recipients within a particular major.

We hope that companies will recognize their participation as not only a commitment to education, but also as an investment in corporate citizenship, social mobility and—ultimately—the long-term success of our New York community.
