Earlier this month, British writer and historian Adrian Tinniswood joined us for a fireside chat about his new book, The Power and the Glory: Life in the English Country House Before the Great War.

Hosted by our very own Second Vice President, Mark Aiston, Adrian delved into what inspired him about countryside living and life before the Great War. Following which, Mark questioned him about some of the key personalities throughout his book; including some well-known families including the Waldorf Astors, Carnegie’s and Guinness.’
