The Solieri Family

SGSNY was fortunate to meet the Solieri family on their first trip to NYC in December 2023 to begin the vaccine trial for seven-year-old Arianna. Under the new vaccine schedule, families are required to spend an entire month in NYC to receive three treatments over four weeks.

The family took the schedule in stride and chose to celebrate the holidays in the Big Apple with the entire family, including Arianna’s three younger sisters, grandfather, and Auntie along with her two sons. SGSNY team members Jessica and Katie were fortunate to join the excitement by hosting a fifth birthday party for Arianna’s sister at SGSNY partner organization Let’s Dress Up.

The party included princess dresses (and a knight’s outfit for her cousin) plus make up and jewelry. It was a real delight to chat over tea and cake with the crew, with a little time for coloring and playtime with all six children and six adults. We look forward to hosting the Solieri’s several more times in 2024.- and continue to be inspired by her strength.
