Congratulations, 2024 SGSNY Scholars and Graduates!

Graduation season is nearly through, and we couldn’t be more proud of the SGSNY Class of 2024!

This year, 18 SGSNY scholarship recipients graduated with a four-year degree. Our 2024 Scholars have degrees in 14 different subject areas. Because of their success this year, our Scholars have landed jobs and/ or will be pursuing graduate degrees in the fall. SGSNY Scholar Kirk Persaud was even selected to speak at Queens College’s commencement ceremony. We are thrilled to have this distinguished group of students join our expanding NY Scholar alumni network of almost 500 individuals!

Executive Director Joshua Mandelbaum, Scholarship Chair David Martinelli, Development and Membership Manager Jessica Sims, and Programs and Membership Coordinator Patrick Mell all had the privilege of attending the commencements of Lehman College on May 30 and City Tech on June 5. We are so thankful to Chilmark Builders for donating to our program for another year to ensure our Scholars received graduation gifts.

We are so proud of you, 2024 SGSNY Scholars:
