Getting Our 2024 Scholars Ready for Success

We were thrilled to host an event alongside our new partner, That Suits You, for our 2024 male Scholars! That Suits You is an organization that helps young people with little to no income  overcome the challenge of securing professional attire as graduation approaches and they begin the job application and interview process.

During the event, PK Kersey, Executive Director of That Suits You, spoke to SGSNY Scholars  about building confidence and the importance of how to showcase yourself in professional settings. After this, our Scholars received fittings for suits, ensuring they are interview-ready once they graduate next spring.

We want to extend a big thank you to Beth Levine at City Tech in Brooklyn who was gracious enough to host us and provided invaluable support as well as PK Kersey for his dedication and partnership.
