Member Spotlight: Meet Jacqui Stafford

London-born Jacqui Stafford is a leading authority on fashion and beauty with private styling clients ranging from celebrities to royalty.  You may know the global style expert from her numerous appearances on the Today Show, GMA, CNN and her work on QVC, collaborating with fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. Stafford is known for her practical ‘best girlfriend’ style advice and is the author of the best-selling style and beauty bible, “The Wow Factor: Insider Style Secrets for Every Body and Every Budget”.

As a journalist, her work has appeared in Vogue, Marie Claire, Shape, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping and People StyleWatch, among others. Stafford has lived and worked in New York, London, Paris, Hong Kong and the Canary Islands. While living in Hong Kong hosting a prime-time lifestyle TV show, she was nominated “One of the Ten Most Interesting People in Hong Kong.”

How did you come to learn about St. George’s Society of NY?

Heard about it through a friend of mine, Richard Sexton.  

What is your favorite part of being a SGSNY member?

Love meeting up with fellow Brits while benefitting a great cause. 

How has being a part of SGSNY helped you as a new New Yorker (personally and/or professionally)? 

SGSNY is such a fun way to network; have met so many fascinating people.

What is your favorite place in NYC?

Central Park is my stomping ground in NYC - taking a stroll or picnic; nothing better.  My favorite place to eat? The Centurion Restaurant at the Summit (it's really hard to get in, but it's fabulous!)
